If you haven’t tried these, you’re missing out! They are abosulutely delicious and a game changer! Perfect addition or main course breakfast.
Instructions
Start by preheating your oven to 425 degrees.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper to fit the pan, line your pan with the strips of bacon.
- Cook your bacon to desired doneness and then save the bacon grease and pour it into a mug or other heat resistant dish.
- Prepare your pancake batter (it says to just add water, but I use 2% milk instead) mix until you have the right cosistency.
- Preheat a frying pan, once the pan is hot proceed to add some of the bacon grease you get aside. You’ll be using the grease to fry the bacon dipped pancakes.
- Dip your cooked bacon into the pancake batter until it’s heavily coated. From there you’ll begin to fry your bacon dipped pancakes until they are golden brown.
- Keep an eye on them, the coating isn’t extremely thick and they don’t take long at all to cook.
- As soon as you are finished cooking them, immediately add confectioners sugar if you would like a sweet flavor.
It’s as simple as that! Dip them in your favorite maple syrup and enjoy!
